- an alpha blocker such as doxazosin (Cardura), guanadrel (Hylorel), prazosin (Minipress), terazosin (Hytrin), alfuzosin (Uroxatral), tamsulosin (Flomax), and others.
Very low blood pressure, possibly resulting in dizziness, fainting, stroke, or heart attack may be caused while taking Vardenafil with any of these medications:
- any drug that is used to treat impotence, such as alprostadil (Caverject, Muse, Edex) or yohimbine (Yocon, Yodoxin), and others;
- an antifungal medication such as ketoconazole (Nizoral) or itraconazole (Sporanox);
erythromycin (E-Mycin, Eryc, Ery-Tab, and any other antibiotics); - a medication that is used to heal irregular heartbeats such as quinidine (Quinaglute, Quinidex, Quin-Release), (Cordarone, Pacerone), procainamide (Procan SR, Procanbid, Pronestyl), amiodarone, sotalol (Betapace, Sorine), indinavir (Crixivan).
